On January 12, 2025, Compass Bible Church Huntington Beach commissioned a group of people to plant a church in Long Beach. Under the leadership of Josh Petras and Bruce Blakey, this church was sent out to proclaim the gospel, reach the lost, and strengthen believers through the preaching of the gospel. Compass Bible Church Long Beach officially started on February 2, 2025. From the beginning, our mission has been to make disciples of Jesus for the glory of God. We are a church that desires to be committed to rejoicing in God’s glory, submitting to God’s Word, proclaiming God’s gospel, and serving God’s church.
Our church currently meets on Sundays at Bancroft Middle School. Our worship service starts at 10:30, while our Equipping Class begins at 9:00am. Compass Kids is available from newborn to 5th grade during both meeting times. It is our prayer that God would use this church to help you come to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, for the sake of His glory!
