Compass KIDS aims to provide a safe, secure, and loving environment for our church's children to grow in their understanding of God’s Word. By laying a solid biblical foundation, we hope and pray these children would be wise unto salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Tim 3:15).

What to Expect

Each class engages young learners in developmentally appropriate ways. Our goal is to teach the Bible faithfully and engagingly, with every class including a dedicated lesson time. Depending on their class, children will grow in their understanding and love for God’s Word through worship, coloring pages, crafts, fun games, and snacks. Each element of the service relates to the lesson and is designed to help children apply it to their lives. Each week, the bulletin includes a lesson overview, and families are encouraged to take a family devotional with further Bible readings, questions, and prayers for family worship time throughout the week.

Classes open for check-in 15 minutes prior to service time.

Curriculum

Generations of Grace is a comprehensive three-year curriculum that navigates children through an immersive journey in God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation. Children who start in preschool will have gone through the Bible’s storyline three times by the time they finish 5th grade. The program teaches the same curriculum to different age groups, progressively becoming more in-depth as the student matures.

Safety

Your child’s safety is our top priority. All volunteers are well-known to the church’s elders, cleared through thorough background checks, and trained in our child protection policy. A security team and established protocols, including secure check-in systems, create a safe, welcoming environment for your child.
